Year after year, lovers of Baroque music meet up in Göttingen over the Whitsun period. And in the presence of exceptional musicians and insightful audiences, the city takes on the special flair unique to an international festival setting.

The aim of the Stiftung Internationale Händel-Festspiele Göttingen is to guarantee the high quality and diversity of the Göttingen International Handel Festival for the future. The Stiftung serves to promote art and culture by supporting the Festival and cultivating the musical heritage of George Frideric Handel.

By making a contribution of EUR 2,500 or more you can take your place among the Handel Stiftung benefactors. In this way you can play a personal role in maintaining the Festival’s excellence for coming generations – for the town and the region, for the arts, and, we are convinced, for your very own Freude an der Musik.
