Lunch Concert

The Festival invites you to a very special lunch break: escape the hustle and bustle for a while and enjoy handmade music in the city centre and free of charge. Let yourself be enticed and surprised by Heli Siekkinen and her accordion, in which an entire orchestra seems to be slumbering.

Whether as a foretaste or an encore, our lunch concerts are the perfect complement to an evening concert. Let us follow Handel’s example, who – if we are to believe his chroniclers – knew only too well how important pleasure is in everyday life and how perfectly music and pleasure combine.
