Children’s Day
In the Footsteps of Handel
This year’s Children’s Day invites families and kids to a wide range of concerts and hands-on activities. While the youngest visitors begin with a Baby Concert in the St. Jacobi parish hall, host Stefan Hoffmann officially opens Children’s Day – supported by class 6bil of the Felix-Klein Gymnasium and a joint family sing-along led by the vocal ensemble Sozusingen. In the afternoon, the journey continues with the choirs of the Theodor-Heuss Gymnasium, and the Porter Percussion Duo demonstrates how rhythms can magically come to life with anything that makes a sound – body percussion included!
And now we need you: join us for Children’s Day, build your own instruments, and set off with us in Handel’s footsteps!
