Händel & Scarlatti: Römische Kantaten

Works by Handel, Scarlatti and Geminiani

This year the focus is on strong women – not only in the opera, but also in events such as this cantata concert by the young British ensemble Odissea. Handel and Scarlatti address the figure of Agrippina, each composer proving his mastery in grasping the world of female emotions and managing dramatic tension.
