”They’re all likeable: all these young people who are passionate about early music,” reported juror Christiane Irrgang for the NDR in 2022. In the seventh year of the international competition that supports young ensembles in chamber music, the Handel Festival is once again looking forward to these likeable talents from all over Europe and to their artistic work, to attractive prizes, a distinguished jury and strong partners. In 2021, all three ensembles in the final received the same number of votes for the Audience Prize, and in 2022, the main and special prizes were shared between two competing ensembles. We are certainly looking forward to the next surprise!
