Maria!

Not least due to their triumphant appearances at the Oude Muziek Festival Utrecht and the great Baroque festivals in France, the Ghislieri Choir & Consort rank among the ‘must hear’ ensembles on the European music scene. In their Germany debut, they perform Marian compositions by Handel, Francesco Durante – a leading protagonist of the Neapolitan school, and Emanuele d’Astorga, whose Stabat Mater brought the composer fame and who enjoyed considerable popularity into the 19th century.
