Metamorphosen zu Händels "Poro"
In Poro, Handel narrates the tale of the Indian King of that name and Alexander the Great, with abundant intrigues, mistaken identities, lust for vengeance and tangled love stories.
The Japanese butoh dancer Tadashi Endo, together with organist Stefan Kordes, opens up Handel’s opera to the audience in an out-of-the-ordinary, captivating and emotively gripping manner.
