Laurence Cummings in Concert

Not only is he Artistic Director of the Göttingen International Handel Festival and Musical Director of the FestspielOrchester Göttingen, but he's also a stupendous harpsichordist (and singer!). For opening concerts and recitals Laurence Cummings is always joined by the very best. From the orchestra pit in the Deutsches Theater Göttingen he conducts the »Festival opera Rodrigo, furthermore this year’s »oratorio Saul in Hann. Münden and the »Gala Concert with Christophe Dumaux in the Jacobi church, Göttingen

In an informal ambience, Laurence Cummings and the celebrated soprano Ruby Hughes will be presenting some of the most beautiful arias from Handel’s Susanna, Theodora, Jephtha, The Choice of Hercules and Solomon in the opening concert.
