With the aim of bringing younger and youngest audiences more closely in touch with opera as a genre, each year the agenda includes a family version of the Festival opera production. In shortened form and moderated by Juri Tetzlaff in a style skilfully geared to this group of listeners, the opera soloists and the FestspielOrchester Göttingen present some of the finest moments of the opera under the direction of Laurence Cummings.
