The Göttingen International Handel Festival 2026 will take place from May 14 to 25.

Advance ticket sales for selected events will already begin this year: for members of the Göttingen Handel Society on November 21 and for the general public on November 28.

Reductions upon presenting proof of
identification: School pupils, students (up to 27 years of age), persons performing voluntary service as well as unemployed and disabled persons (80 % and above) will be granted a discount on regular ticket prices.

Kulturticket
Students of the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen receive free admission and free bus transfer with the Kulturticket. Reservations are possible 24 hours prior to the concert (kulturticket@haendel-festspiele.de). Only one ticket can be reserved per student. The Opera Premiere, Readings, Wine and Music and the Sunrise Concert are excluded from the Kulturticktingent of tickets will be reserved for students.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to make a cash payment or to credit a voucher to an order that has already been placed.
