Dear Handel enthusiasts,Tickets

Since the Handel renaissance over 100 years ago, the Göttingen International Handel Festival has been bringing Handel's music to the people – an audience that has grown ever larger and more diverse. And you have played a part in making this happen. Thank you very much! This is something that we would like to celebrate from May 9 to 20, 2024. Under the Festival motto KALEIDOSCOPE, we have once again invited outstanding artists from all over the world to Göttingen and the surrounding region to explore Handel's music together with you and discover new twists on the familiar. Tickets go on sale to the general public on February 9.

A KALEIDOSCOPE is all about illuminating an ever-changing diversity and discovering the beauty within. There are the oratorios Deborah (HWV 51), Il Trionfo del Tempo e del Disinganno (HWV 46a) and Israel in Egypt (HWV 54). There is the Festival opera Sarrasine, a never-before-heard pasticcio of selected compositions once rejected by Handel, compiled by George Petrou and Laurence Dale for the 2024 Festival. And then there is our passion for encounters and exchanges about Handel, such as the ten chamber music concerts, followed by Meet the Artist opportunities. We encourage you to browse through our Festival magazine and join us in May. We look forward to seeing you.
