Duo Lucescuro
Participant "göttingen händel competition"
The young duo Lucescuro focuses particularly on music from the 17th and 18th century. Its goal is to expand the repertoire of this instrumentation by performing less-known works and its original arrangements of various compositions. Based in Vienna, the recorder-harpsichord duo has already received important artistic impulses at various masterclasses with Dorothee Oberlinger, Maurice Steger and Erik Bosgraaf, among others. Most recently, the duo performed at the Pop-Up Stage of the Resonanzen Festival for Early Music at the Vienna Konzerthaus. Britta Kähny was born in Fürth in 2003. After four years in the pre-college program with Jeremias Schwarzer and Maurice Steger at the HfM Nuremberg, she began her current studies for recorder performance with Carsten Eckert at the mdw in Vienna. She has won several prizes at various national competitions, most recently first prize at the 1st Hans Lewitus Competition in Vienna, and has attended numerous masterclasses with Dorothee Oberlinger, Erik Bosgraaf and Michala Petri, among others. Taiwanese harpsichordist Chun-Shih Lin, born in Taipei in 2004, is currently studying harpsichord performance with Magdalena Hasibeder at the mdw in Vienna. He has also received significant inspiration from Johannes Bogner, Céline Frisch and Iason Marmaras. At the same time he is also a student of orchestral conducting and recorder performance, also at mdw.
