Furore Ensemble

With a deep passion for the baroque repertoire and an openness to new worlds of sound, we, the Furore Ensemble, create concerts that are emotionally moving and thought-provoking at the same time.

In 2024, with the support of a TONALI scholarship, we realized an immersive performance for audience, electronics, baroque instruments and whispering shopping carts, organized a festival at the zamus JUBA together with young people and expanded traditional concert formats, always supplementing the usual canon with works by female composers.

We studied historically informed performance practice at the conservatoires in Cologne an Essen and gained further inspiration from workshops with Clara Blessing and Folkert Uhde, among others. In the competitions À tre, Nuovi talenti and Coudenberg sound box we competed in the final rounds.
