Les Arcanes Baroques

Participant "göttingen händel competition"

Formed in 2024, Les Arcanes Baroques unites four musicians—Kira Dove and Benjamin Lenzmeier (violins/viola), Andreu Gènova (cello), and Elias Tulchynsky (basso continuo and violin) — through a shared passion for early music and historically informed performance practice. While the ensemble focuses primarily on Baroque trio sonata repertoire, it also explores string quartets from the Classical period. The musicians met during their studies at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague and have received guidance from leading specialists such as Kati Debretzeni, Richard Egarr, and Patrick Ayrton. In 2025, the ensemble was selected for the International Handel Competition in Göttingen, won the Audience Prize at the International B. Marini Competition, and performed several concerts at the Utrecht Early Music Festival.
